Salsa - For more than dipping your chips |
| Growing
up in Colombia, we never use to dip our chips into salsa. Our chips were
for munching only. It was not only until I moved to this country that
I started dunking my corn chips in the wonderful tomato salsa from Mexico.
This is not to say that Claudia’s Salsa is not for dunkin’ your
chips into, but let me give you more ways…
Spread Claudia’s Salsa over grilled steaks, chicken, and fish. Mix a tablespoon of it into your chili con carne. Blend it into mayonnaise for a tasty sandwich spread. Flavor your favorite soup with a teaspoon of the green sauce. Mix it in others salsas, even the Mexicans, for a richer cilantro flavor. Use it as a marinade before grilling your meats and game. Rub it into pork tenderloin before it hits the charcoals. Blend it with fruits like oranges and kiwi for a fruit salsa. And lastly, put it on my arepas or empanadas, soon coming to Bozeman!
